Illustration for LumoPages Help: התאמה אישית של טקסט הכפתור

Want to make your "Submit," "Next," and "Back" buttons truly your own? LumoPages gives you the power to customize the text on these crucial system buttons, ensuring they perfectly match your Lumo's tone and guide your users precisely.

What is Custom Button Text?

Custom button text is the specific wording that appears directly on your button. It's what users read to understand the button's purpose, acting as a mini-instruction or a direct call to action.

Step-by-Step: Customizing Button Text

Locate System Button Customization: Scroll to the bottom of the "Custom Sections" page. You'll find an input field that lets you customize the text for your project's system buttons:

  • Submit button: Change the text for the final submission button (e.g., "Complete Feedback").
  • Next button: Customize the text for moving to the next stage (e.g., "Continue," "Proceed").
  • Back button: Adjust the text for returning to the previous stage (e.g., "Go Back," "Previous Step").

Enter Your Desired Text. Type the exact wording you want to appear on your button into this field. Choose text that is:

  • Clear and Concise: Get straight to the point.
  • Action-Oriented: Start with a verb (e.g. "Submit Feedback").
  • Relevant: Directly reflects the action the button performs.

Tips for Effective Button Text

  • Be Specific: Instead of "Submit," try "Submit Your Feedback" or "Send My Inquiry."
  • Keep it Short: Aim for 2-5 words. Too much text can make the button hard to read and less inviting to click.
  • Match Your Brand Voice: If your brand is playful, your button text can be too (e.g., "Let's Get Baking!").
  • Consider User Benefit: What does the user gain by clicking? "Get My Free Ebook" is more enticing than "Download."

Saving Your Changes

After you've customized your button text and adjusted any other button settings (like size or alignment), remember to manually save your changes to your Lumo. Look for the "Apply Changes" button in the edit area.

Customizing your button text is a small detail that makes a big difference in how users interact with your Lumos. By making your calls to action clear and compelling, you guide your users effectively and enhance their overall experience.
